Driveway access nightmare in Norfolk Road

I sympathize with Betty Fuge 'parking in Norfolk Road' in last week's letters.

Since WSCC did away with the yellow line outside our property in Norfolk Road, it has been a nightmare exiting our driveway, particularly since the nursery was enlarged, which generates massive parking in the road three times a day.

I arrived one day to find a car parked across the drive with two women standing talking.

Last week, a mini-bus parked adjacent to the drive making it impossible to see, when driving out.

I have complained to WSCC. Their reply was that we can have a white line painted at your expense by them – a good way to generate income
