Duncan’s wrong

Duncan Barkes is misinformed if he thinks opposition to the badger cull is ‘daft’.

The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs’ own expert research grouphas concluded that “badger culling can make no meaningful contribution to cattle TB control in Britain”.

Better alternatives are programmes of vaccination (as in Wales), and more effective control of cattle movements.

So why is the Government flying in the face of reason?
