It has been interesting to note an example of the contempt shown by some towards ‘the population at large in public on foot’, or pedestrians.

Statutory legal premises’ licence application notices have been displayed on the carriageway outside the Beach residences at a place where there is no footway.

A pedestrian might be advised to take to the promenade, and, standing behind bollards or employing an assistant to warn approaching cyclists, to use binoculars in order to make out the information on these signs.
