Good to see aunt so well looked after

AT A time when our various services that aid the elderly are under attack, may I draw your readers’ attention to the absolutely outstanding support that has been given to my 93-year-old aunt who lives in Goring.

Not in the best of health, she fell ill on Christmas Day and received attention in her home until about 10pm. This is only one instance of the continuing, thoughtful care that she has received over the last few months.

Having served her country well – she escaped just ahead of the Japanese from Singapore in 1941 – it is good to see her being looked after so well in return.
