WHAT is it with Worthing Council and Tesco? It lets Tesco put a shop at the southern end of South Farm Road on a busy junction with no parking spaces.
Cars park illegally, often on the pavement at school rush hour, as do big articulated delivery lorries.
The council then let them put another shop a little further north of it, in Broadwater Street West, which flouted planning regulations and sold alcohol to under-age customers.
The council now again looks favourably on another Tesco in an area that already has appropriate shops.
Would not low-cost housing have been a better option at all three sites?
