Have your say

Worthing Foodbank manager Julie Denyer wishes to send a huge thanks to ASDA in Lancing for allowing us to collect food outside their store on Saturday, October 10, and to all the customers who gave so generously, you gave 618.5kgs of food.

Big thanks also to all my wonderful volunteers who continue to support Foodbank faithfully.

In 2014 Worthing Foodbank managed to feed 2,020 local people a three-day food supply.

So far, to the end of September this year, we have fed 1,722 people.

There are now over 400 foodbanks nationwide with three foodbanks opening every week – it’s growing rapidly.

Network information can be found on www.trusselltrust.org.uk

Our next collection is on Saturday, November 7, at Morrisons in Worthing.

Full details of all our collections and more information about Worthing Foodbank can be found on our website www.food-bank.co.uk
