LETTER: Thanks for help after fall

On Sunday, February 25, my husband was on his way to collect the papers when he tripped on broken paving stones and fell towards the road.

A car stopped and a lady kindly helped him up and, as he had hit his face and nose and was bleeding badly, she cleaned him up with wet wipes.

A gentleman, ‘Barry’, also came to help and walked my husband back home. We had to go to A&E as the nose bleed wouldn’t stop completely.

I would like to thank both these kind people for their help in a nasty situation.
