LETTER: Who would disagree?

I notice from the latest '˜In Touch' leaflet to come through my door that a number of Conservative councillors are supporting The Empty Plate Café, in Worthing, which they call an excellent community asset. Who would not agree with that?

Do these councillors belong to the same Conservative Party who in Government are intent on cutting benefits to the sick and needy thus making necessary an ‘only pay what you can afford café’?

Just another example of local Conservative councillors trying to distance themselves from the damage being done by their party in Government.
