Friday night was certainly music night in St Andrew’s Church, Tarring, where the packed church was treated to a musical extravaganza.
Local girl Jacquelyne Hill (BBC Choir Girl of the Year 2009), currently studying at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, and two
of her fellow students, Michael Lowe and Matthew Clark, treated us to range of musical treats.
As if this was not enough to please the audience, another two Worthing starlets, Claudia Harris and Emma Stevens, entertained us with even more wonderful songs.
Quite correctly, the congregation gave the singers a standing ovation at the end of the concert.
The concert formed part of the Iceland Food Charitable Foundation support for the Royal British Legion, and it was announced that the evening had raised £1,475 towards this so worthy cause.
