‘Not happy...’

WE residents of Barfield Park are not happy as the first we knew about the Brighton and Hove Albion training ground was when bulldozers went behind our properties.

We contacted Adur planning office complaining that we had no notification of what was going on. We have been told that a two-lane road is being built at the rear of our properties – this is not wide enough it was only a farmers’ lane.

There is also very strong objections to the football pitches and clubhouse as they will be used seven days a week and also evenings, also with floodlighting which will encroach on our privacy and noise level will be greatly increased. Most of the gardens are only about 20 feet away from the proposed road and very over looked.
