Parking woes

Parking at Lidl Worthing is a nightmare. On July 27, my wife, having cut the £5 off vouchers out of the paper, we went to do our week’s shopping at Lidl. We had two vouchers so thought we would have two trolleys.

We spent well over £100 that day but knew it would cost us a lot more elsewhere. The car park at this time was for only one hour. How can you shop, queue and pack in this short time? We had no idea about the change in car park times and we were out in 1hr 27min thinking we had done a good shop.

We had not thought of the surcharge £90 fine for parking.

A few days later, I went and complained to the under manager as the manager was on holiday.

I said we had spent a fortune in his shop. We complained to the parking firm and let of our fine wrote to Lidl no reply. We won’t be shopping there anymore.
