Sad sight near park

I LIVE near Longcroft Park, Durrington.

It is a lovely park, along with Whitebeam Wood in the area.

Lots of lovely beds of daffodils are just coming into flower.

Does anyone know why the flowers are pulled up and thrown around?

Each year, it gets worse. I find it very sad.

Whitebeam Wood has some lovely trees, including old oaks, smothered in ivy.

I don’t know why they are left like that.

Men come regularly to the wood, but only to coppice hazel trees and leave great piles of branches.

It doesn’t take much to cut the ivy at the bottom, instead of later having to cut the tree down when it dies.
