ON Saturday, November 27, we attended a presentation evening at JB’s Bar by the Worthing Friends of ICE (Integration Community Education).
Nick Halstead had organised a sponsored walk earlier in the year in memory of one of our members Chris Cullingham, who sadly passed away.
The money raised is used by our organisation to fund helpers to enable local disabled people to go on holiday, with or without their main carer, and enjoy themselves and ensure that they receive the help they need.
This year, Worthing Friends of ICE raised £1761.12 for our organisation in memory of Chris, and through your paper, on behalf of everyone at ICE, I would like to thank everyone involved in Worthing for their generous support to our organisation – it will make a big difference.
Our thanks to everyone involved and especially to Nick for arranging the event.
