Imagine rushing headlong in an ambulance (blue lights flashing) to hospital.
It’s an experience one is unlikely to forget.
In my case in the capable hands of two young female paramedics (they deserve a medal.)
After a period in the acute medical ward at Worthing Hospital I found myself in Erringham Ward.
I have to say the care that I received in Erringham was, in every respect, dedicated and professional from all members of the nursing team. The food was also of a very acceptable standard.
They also transported me to the outstanding Cancer Care Centre based at the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton for radiotherapy treatment.
The NHS get my vote every time, well done!
