  • The Worthing Herald series is part of Sussex Newspapers, published by Portsmouth Printing and Publishing, a division of Johnston Press Plc.

  • Publications based at Cannon House include the Lancing Herald, Shoreham Herald, Steyning Herald, Littlehampton Gazette, Worthing and District Advertiser, the Worthing Guardian series, Storrington Chronicle, Southwick Chronicle and East Arun Chronicle.

 
 
 
 
Herald History 
  • The Worthing Herald was first published in 1920, and merged with the Worthing Gazette, which dates from 1882, in 1981.
  • From 1981 until 1987 the newspaper was known as the Worthing Gazette and Herald, and had a Lancing edition. From July 1987, the newspaper returned to the title Worthing Herald, and the new edition the Lancing Herald, was first published in 1990.

 
 
 
 
About us 
  • The Worthing and Lancing Heralds are published every Thursday.
  • The Heralds cover a wide area, from Ferring in the west, to Lancing in the east and north to Pulborough.
  • Areas covered include Goring, Durrington, Findon, Ferring, Storrington, Ashington, Washington, Thakeham, Broadwater, Tarring and Sompting.
