HONOR Eves has been pounding the streets of Worthing in all weathers to prepare for her first full marathon.
Honor, a pharmaceuticals sales manager from Broadwater, has already raised almost £2,500 in sponsorship for the charity Children with Leukaemia – and her employer Cordia Healthcare has pledged to match her total.
Honor, 35, will be battling the 26 miles of the London Marathon on April 13 as part of the Mr Men and Little Miss team who run each year for the cancer charity.
"My brother James ran with the Mr Men and Little Miss team last year and it gave me that final push," said Honor.
"I have only been running for a couple of years and have never completed a full marathon but I'm hoping to complete it in four-and-a-half hours."
Honor has been using the seafront and streets of Worthing to train as well as her treadmill at home.
She has also completed two half marathons this year – in Brighton and Bath.
