Worthing hockey player's in the navy

KEEN hockey player Kirsty Pickett has upped-sticks, leaving Worthing to start a career with the Royal Navy.
The 22-year-old Worthing Ladies first team player, who used to work for the Inland Revenue, joined the Royal Navy in January and has just completed her basic training at HMS Raleigh in Cornwall.

Now a trainee air engineering technician, Kirsty joined the navy to travel the world and meet new people.

Her first job at the beginning of her specialist training will involve checking and repairing Royal Navy aircraft at HMS Sultan in Hampshire.
