HELEN Hyde from Worthing thinks she must be a "nutter" for entering the marathon.

Helen, 38, of Adversane Road, said: "My main reason for taking part was to prove to my children that if you want to do anything hard enough and you work for it, then you can.
"I've been training with my brother all over Worthing, seeing plenty of folk enjoying their morning strolls along the beach.
"My favourite place to run has to be the downs, up and over Cissbury Ring, enjoying the peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of life."
Self-employed hairdresser Helen is running for Mencap. Her husband Andy and two children, Josh, 12, and Sam, 10, will be cheering her on at the finish line.
She said: "I think I will keep it up – although I'm not sure I'll take on another marathon!"
