SO energy used in producing the chippings by carbon driven engines will provide fuel for "bio fuel" power stations?
That is the sort of logic that this hapless council has brought to bear on this sorry demolition exercise.

The paltry sum that the council will recoup is not worth the effort.

Far easier and greener to have let the locals clear the beaches in the first place.

Such a terrible waste of perfectly good wood.
