THE spectacular sight of huge waves crashing against the seashore continued throughout the week.
Herald reader Philippa Harmer sent in photographs of the sea at high tide on Wednesday, March 12 which feature in the photo slide show which can be seen by clicking on the green play button.
Also in the slide show are photographs of the stormy sea on Monday, March 10, taken by Joe Greaves-Lord.
The Monday storm affected Worthing's twin town of Les Sables d'Olonne in France.
Former Worthing resident Colin Enticknap was amazed to see a cargo ship washed up onto the beach and sent in photographs which can be seen by clicking on the thumb nails or the View Gallery link.
He said:" It is amazing to see what turns up on our beaches after the storms.
"Worthing has piles of wood. Les Sables d'Olonne has a cargo boat.
"The boat is now stranded until I believe mid April when the tide may be high enough for it to be refloated."
