FALLEN trees have blocked numerous roads across Worthing and the county.
Herald readers Mark South and Steve Dowdeswell took these photographs of fallen trees in Lansdowne Road and Offington Avenue.

At the height of the gale this morning (Monday, March 10), several beach huts in Goring were damaged by the high winds.

Awnings from seafront shops and businesses went flying.

After a brief spell of calm, the storm returned at 10.30am, with thunder and lightning added to the mix of driving rain and high winds.

Pictures from Herald readers have been arriving at the office thick and fast - we hope to be able to publish them all on the internet - please keep them coming.
