WORTHING'S campaign battle bus left for No 10 Downing Street today with a "Save our Hospital" demand to Prime Minister Gordon Brown.
More than 100,000 have signed a petition against the primary care trust's plans to downgrade Worthing and Southlands.

The battle bus left with supplies of drinking water and fruit provided by the Herald.

KWASH chairman Tom Wye said: "This is a very generous gesture by the Herald.

"They have supported us all the way in this vital campaign."

The petition was due to be presented this afternoon.

Herald digital journalist Sarah Dale is on board the battle bus and will be producing a video report of the day.
