The Support St Richard's campaign has expressed its disappointment over the news that St Richard's Hospital is to be downgraded.

Message from the group:"We are devastated that the West Primary Care Trust (PCT) is recommending St Richard's to be a Local General Hospital.
"The Board of the PCT will be voting to accept this recommendation next Wednesday, June 4 at the Copthorne Hotel, Effingham Park near Gatwick.
"By St Richard's being recommended to be a Local General Hospital, it means that patients will LOSE full emergency A&E, consultant-led maternity and in-patient paediatrics in Chichester."
The Worthing Herald is sending a bus of Worthing Hospital supporters and a coach of protesters is being sent by St Richard's campaigners.
