THE Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust in Arundel was the unique venue for The Littlehampton Community School prom.
Around 180 year 11 students from the school in Hill Road attended the prom to not only say fond farewells to each other, but also to the five-coloured house system the school has phased out.

In true prom tradition, the students arrived in many show-stopping forms of transport, including a double-decker bus, vintage Rolls-Royce, a Harley Davidson and a fire engine.

Students danced the night away and there was also a chocolate fountain to enjoy.

Jack Ayling, prom organiser and year 11 team leader, said: "They had a brilliant time. They were up and dancing within 10 minutes and it was fantastic.

"They wanted it to be a farewell to the house systems and each wore ribbons and rosettes in the colour of the house they belonged to. It was very emotional. The security team and staff at the venue were very pleased with the students' behaviour."
