DANCES, tasty food and new languages have been experienced by youngsters at Chesswood Middle School as part of a special cultural week.
Children from years five, six and seven at the school in Chesswood Road, East Worthing, spent an exciting week learning all about different cultures.

Year five youngsters focused on Spain, doing flamenco dancing, samba workshops, learning to speak Spanish and making paella.

Over in year six, children celebrated the forthcoming Chinese new year.
In year seven, they spent their week discovering more about India.

At the end of the week, all the children gave special presentations in assembly to share with others what they had learnt.

Harriet White, a year-sfive teacher, said: "They loved the week.

"The idea was to immerse them in different cultures so they could experience different people's religions and lifestyles."
