Around 82 year 11s students from Chatsmore, in Goring Street, enjoyed a dinner and dance at the Burlington Hotel, Marine Parade, on Wednesday, June 25, to mark the end of their time at the school.
This was the first time the prom had involved a sit-down dinner and dance and it was a real success.
Dressed up to the nines, some students also arrived in a stretched Hummer and a Jaguar.
Cora Gillies, head of year 11, said: "It was very relaxed and successful.
"Students were overheard saying what a great atmosphere the event had. It was great to see them sitting down eating and talking to each other.
"I would like to thanks the staff at the Burlington."
