Lancing pupils celebrate sporting success

PUPILS at North Lancing First and Middle School are celebrating after becoming indoor athletic team champions for the fourth year running.
Four middle schools in Lancing and Sompting competed in the annual Lancing District Middle Schools Indoor Athletics meeting at Lancing Leisure Centre.

More than 160 boys and girls from North Lancing First and Middle, Thornberry Middle, Oakfield Middle and White Styles Middle competed in a variety of track and field events.

The overall winners were North Lancing First and Middle for the fourth year running. Jon Collet, head of PE at the school, said: "We're extremely proud of all our young athletes.

"To lift the trophy for the fourth year running was a tremendous achievement."
