OLYMPIC bronze rowing medallist Elise Laverick gave an inspirational talk to pupils at Davison High School.
Her visit to the school in Selborne Road, Worthing, was at the same time as the Paralympic handover ceremony was taking place in Beijing.

Elise, who won the bronze medal in the women's double sculls last month, talked to year seven and eight pupils in a special assembly.

Kay Taylor, assistant head teacher, said: "It was such a honour to have Elise visit.

"She is an excellent role model for our students."
