CHIPPINGDALE Cricket Club climbed a place to third in West Sussex Invitation League Division 2 on Saturday with a 89-run win at Scaynes Hill.
Chipps won the toss and elected to bat and had a number of contributions throughout their batting order as they finished their 49 overs on 239-8.
Nisar Ul Mustafa top-scored with 45 as he moved on to 307 runs for the season, while Simon Martyn (27), Ollie Hall (26 not out), Josh Bourne (26), Faisal Khan (25) and Spencer Morris (24) were also in the runs.
Joe Gallon returned figures of 3-54 from 13 overs for Scaynes Hill and Nick Wright took 2-29.
Chippingdale then shared the wickets around as Scaynes Hill were all out for 150 in 39.4 overs.
Bourne led the way with 2-3 from 2.4 overs, while Ul Mustafa claimed 2-21 and Lee Donaldson picked up 2-27. There was also a wicket each for Hall, Ollie Morris and Gary Mockford.
Nick Wright top-scored with 49 for Scaynes Hill, while Dan Tingley hit 35.
Chipps now sit 40 points behind second-placed Broadwater with three league matches to play.
Chippingdale entertain bottom-of-the-table Three Bridges 3rd on Saturday.
