SUSSEX County Cricket Club duo Chris Jordan and Luke Wright have been named in England’s provisional 30-man squad for the upcoming ICC World Twenty20 Cup.
Wright’s inclusion in the squad was something of a foregone conclusion as he has played in the previous four tournaments, including England’s victory in 2010.
All-rounder Wright, who has made 46 Twenty20 appearances for England, is tipped to make the cut once again, while Jordan is yet to play for England in T20 cricket.
The Barbados-born fast bowler will be hoping that his form in the one-day international series against Australia this month can help launch his England career.
The tournament, which is in Bangladesh, begins on March 16.
