SUSSEX County Cricket Club are currently at Arundel Castle for the annual Arundel Cricket Festival.

Sussex are taking on Surrey in County Championship Division 1 until Saturday and then host Northamptonshire in YB40 Group A on Sunday.

Sussex went into the Championship match top of the table after a battling draw at Middlesex last week, thanks to a career-best 187 from Luke Wright in the second innings.

They are unbeaten in their opening seven matches, with three wins and four draws.

England wicketkeeper Matt Prior is in the Sussex squad, while Sussex bowlers, Steve Magoffin and Chris Jordan, are the leading wicket-takers in the division, with 36 and 34 respectively.

Surrey, captained by Vikram Solanki, include former Australia captain Ricky Ponting in their squad, along with England one-day bowler, Jade Dernbach.

Play was delayed by rain on the opening morning today (Wednesday, June 12).

Daily ticket prices for the Championship match are £15 adults, £10 students/senior and £5 for juniors. Play is scheduled to start at 11am each day.

The YB40 game on Sunday starts at 1.45pm and tickets are £15 adults, £5 for juniors aged 18 or under and entry is free for under-fives.

Arundel Castle can be contacted on 01903 882462 during the festival.
