VIDEO: The Pinnacle Sport and Leisure One Stump Challenge at Steyning Cricket Club

STEYNING Cricket Club became the second local side to attempt the Pinnacle Sport and Leisure One Stump Challenge last Tuesday (June 14).

The challenge has been set up for local cricket teams this summer by the Herald/Gazette sports team and the target is to hit one stump when bowling one legitimate delivery.

Steyning were the second team to volunteer to take on the challenge and had a big contingent of club members at their net session last week who attempted it.

They were following Littlehampton, who were first team to take on the challenge and had two people hit, so how did Steyning compare in their efforts to win a One Stump Challenge T-shirt?

The challenge is open to all local teams and if you want to have a go, get in touch with the Herald/Gazette sports team at sport@worthingherald.co.uk or 01903 282389/399.

All attempts will be recorded and will go on our series of websites.
