WORTHING FC have re-signed defender Charlie Farmer and are also hoping to re-sign another former defender, Glen Woodburn.
Farmer, 20, played 48 times for Rebels in his first spell and returns to Woodside Road after leaving Eastbourne Town, who he joined in the summer.
Rebels boss Chris White said: “He left Eastbourne Town last week but I don’t think he ever really wanted to leave Worthing in the first place.
“He’s young but is a good defender and will be an asset as he’s versatile and can play anywhere along the back four.
“He’s got some experience after playing quite a few games here last season and I’m pleased to have him back.”
White made a seven-day approach for Horsham YMCA defender Woodburn last week and said: “We’re still hoping to do something with Glen but we’ll have to wait and see.”
