Rebels draw at Eastbourne Town

WORTHING Footballl Club drew 2-2 at Eastbourne Town on Saturday (February 18) after the home side scored a last-minute equaliser in Ryman League Division 1 South.

Rebels gone ahead through an own goal on 21 minutes but Town levelled six minutes into the second half.

Jamie Brotherton regained the lead for Worthing on 67 minutes, before Town levelled late on – just as they had at Woodside Road in the previous meeting between the two sides this season.

The draw leaves Rebels sixth in the table, two points behind Maidstone, who occupy the last play-off place.
