WORTHING Football Club picked up a point against Sussex-rivals Whitehawk in Ryman League Division 1 South this afternoon.

Ryan McBride’s 50th-minute goal levelled things up after James Fraser’s deflected effort in the 21st minute had put the home side ahead.

The game was one of two to survive in the division thanks to the weather as leaders Bognor beat Merstham 2-0 at home.
