WORTHING Football Club assistant manager Jon Meeney is targeting a strong finish to the season after back-to-back wins in the last week.
Rebels won 2-1 at Crawley Down Gatwick on Thursday and defeated Guernsey 3-0 at Woodside Road on Saturday to extend their unbeaten run to three games.
Rebels travel to Walton & Hersham on Saturday (3pm), before they entertain bottom-of-the-table Eastbourne Town on Easter Monday (3pm) and Meeney said: “With games on Saturday and Monday, we’ll look to utilise the squad but we want to keep our momentum going.
“We’re away on Saturday and then play our last home game of the season on Monday.
“It’s a chance for us to go out and give something back to the fans for their fantastic support this season. We want them to come back again next season, so it’s a chance for us to show them that Worthing is moving in the right direction on the pitch.
“In-house, we’ve set targets and objectives for the players in our last three games as we don’t want the season to just fizzle out and we want to finish well.”
Omar Bugiel will be assessed in training this week ahead of the weekend games but captain Mark Knee is back available after serving a one-match suspension against Guernsey
