WORTHING Football Club first-team coach Jon Meeney is hoping his side can begin to embrace playing at Woodside Road.
Rebels have taken just four points out of a possible 15 in their opening five Ryman League South Division matches at home this season.
With three successive home league matches coming up, Meeney is hoping his side can improve at home and said: “We seem to enjoy playing away from home more than we do at Woodside at this current time.
“We have picked up more points away from home so far this season.
“Every side needs to have a good record at home and that is something we are striving towards.”
Whitstable, Horsham and Redhill all visit Woodside Road in the next few days and Meeney is hoping the home fans will go home happy.
He added: “It’s always good when you win at home as the fans leave happy and the players feel good.
“The next three are all winnable games and, hopefully, we can come out with positive results from all three fixtures and we can kick on at home from there.”
