WORTHING Football Club’s New Year’s Day derby at home to Horsham has been postponed owing to a waterlogged pitch.

The Ryman League South Division clash was called off this morning and will now be played on Wednesday, February 5, with a 7.45pm kick-off at Woodside Road.

In the same division, the following matches have also already been postponed today: Eastbourne Town v Burgess Hill; Folkestone v Ramsgate; Leatherhead v Redhill; Walton & Hersham v Corinthian Casuals; Whitstable v Sittingbourne.

Worthing are next in action on Saturday when they travel to Herne Bay.

There were no Sussex County League fixtures scheduled for today.
