WORTHING Football Club were sunk by a late strike as they lost 2-1 away to Walton & Hersham on Saturday.
Rebels went into the Ryman League South Division match unbeaten in three games and took the lead through Brannon O’Neill two minutes before half-time.
Tony Reid equalised for the hosts on 54 minutes, before he netted the winner two minutes from time.
Worthing host Eastbourne Town in their final home game of the season on Easter Monday. Kick-off at Woodside Road is 3pm.
