Adam Bardouleau put through his own net to hand Seaford Town the lead but Gary Peters levelled to ensure it finished 1-1.

Heading into it, Storrington had lost seven consecutive games in all competitions. After such a poor run, Rhodie was pleased to see his side come away with something, although he felt they deserved more on the day.

He said: “It was a relief to finally end the losing run we’d been on. I felt we played quite well and I was pleased with our response after going behind.

“It was almost like ‘here we go again' after going behind but credit to my players for fighting back.”

Bardouleau sliced past Gary Elliott in Swans’ goal as Seaford went ahead after 15 minutes.

Swans responded well and got level nine minutes later. Ross Fraser saw a strike come back out off a post with Peters was quickest to react and slotted home.
