THERE was one controversial incident in the first half of Worthing Football Club’s 3-1 win over Whitstable on Saturday.

Rebels felt they had taken the lead through James Nicholls’ close-range header but the officials deemed the ball had not crossed the line.

As it turned out, it did not matter as Worthing won with second-half goals from Trevor McCreadie (two) and Omar Bugiel.

But, what do you think? Did it simply come back into play off a post or did it hit the stanchion inside the goal?
