JAMES Child is ready and raring to go for his next professional boxing fight on Saturday evening.
Worthing-based Child admits he has not felt in better shape for a long time for his fight against Shaun Watt at the Brighton Metropole.
Child has one win from his nine professional bouts so far but said: “My training has been good and I’m ready for Saturday.
“I’m pretty confident and I’m going out to stop him and get the win. I’ve worked so hard for it and it’s the best I’ve felt for a long time.
“I want to go into the ring and smash him out of there as quick as I can.”
There are several other bouts on the card on Saturday, with another Worthing boxer Lee Jenman, Lloyd Ellett, Ian Lewison, Nick Jenman and Marcus Eaton also in action.
Anyone who wishes to buy tickets, which cost £35 for standard tickets or £60 for ringside, can call James Child on 07818 098499 or contact him through Facebook.
