FINDON’S Tina Cook and the Team GB eventers have finished the day in the team medal positions at the London 2012 Olympics.

After the dressage today (Sunday), Cook and her teammates were in third position behind current champions Germany and second-place Australia, who also claimed silver in Beijing in 2008 when GB won bronze.

Cook will be going for gold tomorrow when she and horse Miners Frolic take on the second discipline of the competition, the cross-country.

Strong rides by all of the GB team saw them close the day in third, Cook, herself, battled the elements during her dressage as rain poured down in Greenwich Park.

After her ride she finished eighth in the individual rankings, but after all the riders had competed she dropped to 14th overall.
