HALLOWE’EN at Hill Barn Golf Club saw the club host its first-ever evening of “Night Golf”, as the course was transformed into Hill Barn’s Haunted Course.

Strategically placed glow sticks on the tees, greens, bunkers and 150-yard markers provided just enough light for golfers to see what they were doing without detracting from the spooky atmosphere.

Nine teams of four played a nine-hole Texas Scramble format, teeing off from different holes in a shotgun start. But, instead of a shotgun, an enormous firework lit up the sky over the course to start proceedings.

The winning team was “The Village Idiots” with net 27, before there was a three-way tie for second. The runners-up on countback were “The Wicked Witches”, with “Red Devils” third.

Hill Barn described the event a great success as everyone had a fun evening. The club plan to hold the event again next year.
