THREE bowlers from Homefield Park will represent England in British Isles events this weekend.
Amy Truran, the national singles winner for the past two years, is in action in the British Isles Singles Championships and Lorraine Kuhler, with Emma Cooper, will be in action in the under-25 pairs event.
Truran reached the semi-finals of the singles last year, where she lost to eventual winner, Scotland’s Lorna Smith.
In the championship, players from England will come up against the national winners from Wales, Scotland, Jersey and Northern Ireland.
Kuhler said: “The aim is always to win and that’s what we’ll be trying to do and we’ll go into it with confidence.”
Then, from Sunday until Tuesday, Kuhler and Homefield Park club-mate Sian Honnor are in action for England in the British Isles Series, where they take on teams from Wales, Scotland, Jersey and Northern Ireland.
