WORTHING Thunder Basketball Club lost both of their EBL Division 1 matches at the weekend.
Thunder went down 69-65 at home to Bristol Academy Flyers on Saturday, before a 83-73 defeat at Westminster Warriors on Sunday.
Thunder coach Daniel Hildreth said: “It has been a very disappointing weekend.
“We had two very winnable games that, due to our poor execution with our set plays and too many mental lapses on defence, has resulted in two losses. “The energy and commitment to the task at hand were vacant, added to the fact that we turned the ball over two to three times in a row on numerous occasions.
“We have to remember it’s still early in the season but I can’t accept players not giving 100 per cent. That needs to change and with immediate effect.”
