Old Elthamians ran in seven tries to seal an emphatic 51-21 victory at Roundstone Lane last Saturday.

The defeat left Raiders second from bottom in the standings, now four points from safety after fourth-from-bottom Barnes picked up a losing bonus-point at Henley Hawks.

Next up for Worthing is a home clash with fourth-placed Taunton Titans, a third successive home fixture for Raiders.

With plenty of positives seen in the Old Elthamians defeat, Levett sees no reason why his team can’t cause a shock.

He said: “Taunton have got to come to us, it is going to be a long trip for them, we’ll need to get at them early and play like we did on Saturday.

“When the crowd begin to get behind the guys and it is a real pleasure to play here.

“If I’d have been offered two win from these three home games, I’d have taken it. We beat Barnstaple and with Taunton to come on Saturday we are in with a chance of reaching that target.”
