Raiders lose at Henley

WORTHING Raiders Rugby Club lost their bottom-of-the-table clash 21-16 at Henley Hawks in National 1 this afternoon.

Raiders, who trailed 16-13 at half-time, dropped a place to second from bottom, although they did pick up a losing bonus point.

Worthing now trail Henley, who sit fourth from bottom and just outside of the relegation zone, by three points, with Loughborough Students two points further ahead.

Third-from-bottom Cinderford are two points ahead of Raiders and also have two games in hand.

Raiders finish their season with games at home to fifth-placed Blaydon (Saturday), at eighth-placed Old Albanian (April 12) and at home to ninth-placed Wharfedale (April 26).
