WORTHING Raiders Rugby Club will be looking to make it back-to-back wins in National 1 for the first time this season when they travel to Richmond on Saturday (3pm).
Raiders recorded a 34-22 win at home to Cinderford on Saturday, while Richmond won 25-18 at Blackheath.
The teams have had some entertaining encounters in the last few years and Saturday is likely to be no different.
Worthing sit one place and two points above their hosts and backs coach Nick Buoy said: “It’s a nice judge because we’ve come through the ranks with Richmond over the years and we’ve had some brilliant games.
“There’s a mutual respect there but it is like a derby game and it will be a derby atmosphere. We have to go up there expecting to win and expecting to put our heart on our sleeve and really work hard.
“The last two matches we’ve won this season, a week later we’ve lost and, therefore, this time, we’ve got to make sure we go the next level up.”
