Wilson-Hardy makes Raiders return

The 25-year-old talent was a guest for Raiders' National League 2 South clash with Barnstaple at Roundstone Lane.

After starting her career with Worthing's ladies' team, Wilson-Hardy has gone onto to star on the international stage.

The current Bristol player, was part of the Great Britain Seven's team that finished fourth at the Rio Olympics last year, while she has scored three tries in two matches following her inclusion in England Women's Six Nations squad.

Wilson-Hardy was pleased to make a return to where it all started for her on Saturday and said: "It's always special coming back, this is where I first started playing rugby and found my love for it.

"The support I receive from both the club and members is outstanding, which is why I love coming back."

Raiders are back in National League 2 South action on Saturday as they welcome third-placed Old Elthamians to Roundstone Lane.
